The auditors commended our organisation for excellence in service delivery, governance, and person-centred care. We couldn’t be prouder of the work we do every day to support our communities towards better mental health outcomes.   • New Psychosocial Support Program for Adults living with a complex mental health condition

    *We are thrilled to announce that Mentis Assist has partnered with Kindred Clubhouse for a successful submission to deliver Commonwealth Psychosocial Support to people in South East Melbourne* This collaboration funded by the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network, provides support and system navigation for people with mental illness. This partnership represents another significant step forward in our commitment to providing comprehensive mental health services and support to our community. Together, Mentis Assist and Kindred Clubhouse aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and assistance.   • Ride for Relief 2024

    We are pleased to announce that Mentis Assist, together with Peninsula Hot Springs, once again reunite for Ride for Relief, a community cycling event to build connection, promote mental health awareness and raise funds for Mentis Assist. Thanks to the generous funds raised through Ride for Relief, we have been able to provide some of the most vulnerable people in our community with the opportunity to access services they would not otherwise be able to afford, with funds raised going directly towards helping our clients. With your help, we have already been able to provide: Specialist neuropsychiatric, psychiatric and Occupational Therapy Assessments required for access to the National Disability Scheme (NDIS); Drivers license fees to build independence in the community; Computers and laptops to meet study goals and improve employment opportunities House Moving and set up costs for clients to live safely and independently; Food access to help with nutrition and encourage a healthy lifestyle Respite care for carers of those with mental illness to provide a break from the stress of daily challenges. Ride for Relief provides Mentis Assist with flexible funding to help support people living with mental illness to access treatments, re-engage in the community and re-build their lives so that they can be the best version of themselves. We are excited to introduce the Inaugural Walk for Relief. The is a 10k walk along the Point Nepean National Park open to anybody that would like to get behind this great cause!
