Mentis Assist's Service Model incorporates the ‘Victorian Framework for Recovery-Orientated Practice’ (2011) and the National Mental Health Standards (2010).
For many people, recovery will be a lifelong journey. There will also be some people for whom ‘recovery’ is a destination for which they are yet to identify. For these people meeting the daily challenges of life will be their focus.
At Mentis Assist our service model recognises that regardless of where a client is on their recovery journey, our service must ensure that what we do is purposeful, professional and effective. This means there will be a big emphasis on assessment, planning, service coordination, targeted case work and review/discharge.
So whilst a person’s recovery journey will be as individual as people themselves, our focus will be consistent – to support people towards self-management within the community.
