Urgent Mental Health support to meet pandemic demands

Mentis Assist delivers urgent mental Health Support in the Frankston, Mornington Peninsula Region to meet the demands of the Pandemic.

Mentis Assist will be delivering urgently needed mental health support services in the Frankston, Mornington Peninsula region as part of the Victorian Government’s announcement to provide funding for Pop-up Community Mental Health & Wellbeing services to meet the immediate surge demands resulting from the Pandemic.

Pop-up Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Services aim to relieve pressure on existing specialists as a result of the stressors and concerns brought about by the pandemic.  The additional support will complement existing clinical interventions and treatment, to ensure clients with new and ongoing mental health needs get the support they need.

The service will provide assistance with managing mental health symptoms, social and community connection and linkages across services.

Wellbeing coaching, emotional support and practical assistance to address pressing needs for people who feel distressed and overwhelmed as a result of the Pandemic, will also be available for individuals and small business owners.

Mentis Assist has over 35 years’ experience in providing specialised mental health supports for people with severe mental illness and is well established in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Region.

We support individuals and their families, offering a range of services including one on one support, in the home, office and community support, service and care co-ordination, group activities and family support.  We work in collaboration with local service providers to ensure our clients receive the right supports that meets their individual needs.
